Thank you to STEM instructor Miss Tayloranne Brown for leading students in creating LED temporary tattoos. You certainly made basic circuits, polarity, and conductivity fun! Thank you also to Jon Dachos for his generosity in setting up this exciting event and to all of our volunteers for their assistance.

This event was open to 5th-8th Grade Students

Get excited about wearable electronics with this introductory workshop where students will make an LED temporary tattoo! In this event, students will learn about basic circuits, LEDS and polarity, and conductivity. They will be guided by STEM instructor Miss Tayloranne Brown, who is an engineer at the Naval Surface Warfare Command and is very active in the community as a STEM champion. A recent graduate of CSU Chico with a bachelors in Mechatronic Engineering, she is passionate about all things STEM and was part of an all-girls robotics team for 9 years. She currently mentors two robotic teams from the same program. She also enjoys trying new things and making STEM fun!
