Dahlgren Heritage Museum was fortunate to receive an initial grant of $50,000 to establish the museum from the Dominion Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Dominion Resources (now Dominion Energy).  This assistance allowed us to begin the development and installation of the museum’s initial exhibits.

Grants from The Community Foundation have allowed us to, among other things, create additional exhibits, catalog incoming materials, and hire student interns to help them develop professional skills while working on these projects.
