Giving Tuesday 2023 and Beyond

Please consider the Dahlgren Heritage Museum on Giving Tuesday, November 28, and through the remainder of 2023, with the opportunity to double your impact.

The Dahlgren Heritage Museum strives to promote education in our community through:

· providing special events like STEM activities for children and historical tours of our local naval base.

· the creation of exhibits, social media material, and forums that teach about the ground-breaking technologies and processes created and tested at our local naval base – technologies that affect not just the Navy, but our world – and about the people involved in that work.

· setting up internships for college students so that they can gain hands-on experience in organizing collections and creating exhibits.
