Forum: 20th Century Pioneer Dr. Russell Lyddane, A True Renaissance Man

Join us for this free reception and panel discussion to learn more about the life and times of the subject of our newest Pioneer exhibit, Dr. Russell H. Lyddane.  Two of our forum panelists knew him as a father, and two as neighbors during the time he lived on base as the Technical Director at the Naval Weapons Laboratory in Dahlgren, Virginia, where he also played an active role in the community.  Lyddane fought for the survival and diversification of the base in the late 1950s and early 1960s and supported education in numerous ways.

You can visit the exhibit itself at the Dahlgren Heritage Museum on Wednesdays through Sundays from 10 am to 4pm.
